What paint products are best when painting cupboards?

I've pretty much decided on painting over my seriously faded kitchen cupboards with a warm white paint (oak and oak panelling). I know that I have to sand them really well and then wipe with tsp. But, can you recommend a specific paint brand that you've had experience painting cupboards with?What paint products are best when painting cupboards?
You need a paint that is non-blocking, which is a term for paint that resists sticking to other objects. In California, Arizona and Nevada, one of the best quality paint brands is Dunn Edwards. They recommend their Permasheen for cupboards, which is an acrylic semi-gloss paint:

Some people, including myself, prefer an oil-based paint because if it is properly applied, the surface will be smoother and harder than what you can get with an acrylic paint. Dunn Edwards' Aristoglo is an alkyd semi-gloss paint that is suitable for cupboards:

The disadvantage of an alkyd paint is that cleanup requires paint thinner, whereas an acrylic paint can be cleaned up with soap and water. Also, alkyd white paints tend to yellow more than acrylic white paints. For the non-professional, acrylic paints are generally recommended.

If you are in another part of the country, look for a paint with similar characteristics. Don't use a cheap paint for cupboards because you may find that blocking will be a problem.What paint products are best when painting cupboards?

Never use cheap paint like judy suggested bad idea, you would want to use Benjamin Moore Oil paint and apply it with a sprayer after preping it properly if anyone needs some help with the painting projects visit my site I have 12 %26lt;a href=';http://www.schmidtpainti鈥?Companies%26lt;/a%26gt;

Check with Lowes, Menards or Home Depot, there is a paint that is especially made for cabinets.
I would reccommend an oil base paint, not latex. Latex chips easily, oil base is more durable.
