What is the best paint/ method of painting for pressed wood furniture?

I have a couple pieces of furniture made of pressed wood that I would like to paint. What is the best paint and/or the best method for painting these pieces? What is the best paint/ method of painting for pressed wood furniture?
You can only paint pressed wood furniture (MDF) if it has a veneer coating over the particle board. If the pressed board gets wet it will swell and lose its stability and shape. If it has a good veneer layer over it, you need to lightly scratch the surface of the veneer with a fine sand paper to allow the paint to adhere to the veneer's surface. Depending on the type of piece you are painting, I would recommend either Sherwin-Williams or ICI. It would last longer if you primed the piece before actually painting it...use a fine brush to eliminate streaks, and go in the same direction as the grain on the veneer. Make sure to finish it with a coat of polyurethane to protect the paint! Have fun!!!What is the best paint/ method of painting for pressed wood furniture?
Sand it well and then paint as you would solid wood. It may require an extra coat or two because pressed wood will soak up the paint. I would use enamel paint and brush it on, or spray paint, if you can work outside.
