We recently bought a glossy red metal frame bed for my daughter. Up til now she was in a hand-me-down racecar bed. I would love to make it extra girlie by painting flowers on it, but I'm not sure what paint to use or how to prep the surface. i'd recommend acrylic paints, because they last longer, and i would also advise to paint it over with some gloss, to seal the design to make it last longer. Hope this helps, have fun painting!
