Paint . . . ????

I have a saltwater fish tank that i haven't put anything in yet and i am going to paint the back blue and what i was wondering was if i have to use any kind of special paint or if i can use just regular paint. thanks for answering if you do.Paint . . . ????
Krylon paint with a 3 week drying period should be safe.

Remeber glass make feel solid but by definition its a liquid.

So yes an ammonia based window cleaner will leech into the tank over time and so will the paint you plan on spraying the back with.

I would by plastics or something before i painted the back. Forget about safety you may want options in the future painting the back might screw up.

Good Luck Bud....Paint . . . ????
I'd suggest getting the pictures that you can easily tape onto the back
Well you know, they make special covers that go on the back of the fish tank.
I would use oil-based paint, more durable.

Oh, and remember, the paint goes on the outside, not the inside of the tank.

EDIT: Just a precaution, you have to remember. I don't know you. And yes, he was VERY upset about his investment being trashed because of something so rediculous.
Acrylic Paint.
