stay away from any enamel paint as when cured dries hard and will scratch and peel. find a laquer based spray paint (can) put 5 coats on it back to back as soon as coats of paint dry. beleive it or not you can use a mild wax or saddle soap used on leather to keep paint soft and flexible preventing any peeling etc.even if its nylon.

What type of paint should I use to paint my Ballistic nylon suitcase?
There is a coating on it that prevents my fabric paint from sticking to it. Is there any type of coating I can use to get the paint to stick?What type of paint should I use to paint my Ballistic nylon suitcase?
